Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry will keep his promise from several years ago to make a cameo in the dramedy’s series finale. “The hair and makeup people will go through more hell than they’ve ever been,” Cherry quipped during the Desperate Housewives TCA session. He refused to give any hints about how the long-running dramedy will end but said that the final act in the last episode will be the way he had envisioned it in his head for the past 7.5 years. After 8 seasons, Cherry felt “it was time” for the show to end and doesn’t want to force another chapter. “I’m satisfied with where I am,” he said, adding, “I’m never sending these gals to Dubai, that’s all I’m saying,” a jab at the largely panned Sex And the City sequel.
